Ashish Gajurel is a Visiting Lecturer of Transport Economics at the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University Kathmandu, Nepal. He also teaches Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Ace Institute, affiliated to Pokhara University, Pokhara, Nepal. Besides, he is also a Transport and Traffic Consultant for several firms and organization in the area of transportation and traffic management. He has also worked as a Supply Chain Officer at Unilever Nepal Ltd. He completed Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Transportation Systems from Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany in 2010. His research and teaching interests include transportation and traffic engineering and management. He has authored numerous articles for national electronic and news media about traffic management, transportation infrastructure, public transportation, and so forth. As a social initiative, he also has partnered with numerous schools to conduct safety programs to inculcate safety behavior in children. He is regarded as a traffic expert in Nepal.
