Ornament of Honour

Originally published in 1937, this book contains a poem by the Armenian poet Ernest Haik Riddall Altounyan (1889?1962). The poem centres on the life and death of T. E. Lawrence, a friend of Altounyan to whom the poem is dedicated and whose death inspired the poet to write this lament.
