Divided into six sections, the first four discuss key imaging modalities (computed tomography, positron emission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography), and their application in the diagnosis of various disorders and diseases.
The final two sections provide clinical illustrations using multiple modalities, and archival and communication system based on the universal DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) format which allows storage and retrieval of multimodality images.
