He is the author of Religious Pluralism and Islamic Law (OUP 2014), co-editor of the Oxford Islamic Legal Studies series, and founding editor of the journal Middle East Law and Governance. Rumee Ahmed is Associate Professor of Islamic Law and Associate Dean in the Faculty of Arts at the University of British Columbia.
