Many industrialists, Open Universities, users and developers of learning materials were present. ABOUT THE ORGANISATION OF THE CONFERENCE The conference was professionally organised on the basis of a Programme Committee and support from the DELTA Unit. Following a call for papers, 47 contributions were selected by the Programme Committee along seven strands: pedagogical issues, multi and hypennedia, market issues, cross-cultural dimensions, authoring environments, artificial intelligence and telecom munications.
