Dr. Andreas Giessmann has been active for more than 15 years in the coating field. After studying Production and Industrial Engineering as well as Business Studies, he received his PhD in the field of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. He is a managing partner at Coatema Coating Machinery GmbH, a company which develops, produces and globally distributes coating machinery.
Among other endeavours, Dr. Giessmann works in the advisory council of the Institute for Special Textiles and Flexible Materials Thüringen-Vogtland and of the Forschungskuratorium Textil e.V. in Stuttgart.
