High-Resolution IF-to-Baseband SigmaDelta ADC for Car Radios addresses the theory, system level design and circuit implementation of a high-resolution continuous-time IF-to-baseband quadrature SigmaDelta ADC. The target application of this ADC is in AM/FM/IBOC car radios. The ADC achieves a dynamic range of 118dB, which eliminates the need for an IF VGA or AM channel filter in car radios.

Preface. 1. Introduction. 2. DSP based Radio Receiver Architectures. 3. Continuous-Time Sigma-Delta Modulation. 4. Sigma-Delta ADC Topologies for Radio Receivers. 5. IF-to-Baseband ADC for AM/FM/IBOC Receivers. 6. Conclusion. A. Harmonic Distortion in CT Integrators using MOSCAPs. B Noise Analysis of CT Sigma-Delta Modulators with SC Feedback DAC. List of Acronyms. List of Symbols. Index. About the Authors.

Prof. Johan Huijsing is very well known within the Analog Circuits community, and he has (co-)authored and edited numerous books for Springer.
Successful design of very high-resolution SD ADC Only published design combining Switched-capacitor (SC) feedback and IF mixer Achieves high-linearity besides the combination of SC feedback and IF mixer Only IF ADC to allow elimination of VGA and AM filter from the car radio receiver Includes supplementary material: sn.pub/extras
