Wireless Sensor Networks: Theory and Practice for Deployment addresses WSNs deployment, a mandatory and critical step in the process of developing WSNs solutions for real-life applications. The authors address simple approaches to deploy static WSNs, then exploring more sophisticated approaches to deploy mobile WSNs. Featuring detailed investigations of deployment-related issues such as deployment cost, coverage, connectivity, sensors reliability, and harsh deployment environments, this book will equip you with the basics and an advanced view of both the theoretical and practical aspects, along with knowledge of the guidelines for WSNs deployment.

Chapter 1: Wireless Sensor NetworksChapter 2: Random Deployment of WSNsChapter 3: Deterministic Deployment of WSNsChapter 4: Fusion-based Deterministic Deployment of WSNsChapter 5: Dynamic DeploymentChapter 6: Conclusion

Graduate students, academic researchers, early career researchers and engineers and industrial professionals who are interested in acquiring a big picture of various wireless sensor networks deployment approaches. Researchers, engineers, and developers working in the field of wireless sensor networks.

Dr. M.R. Senouci received the State Engineer degree in Computer Science from EMP, in 2005, and his Masters degree in Mobile Computing from the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB, Algeria) in 2009. Finally, he received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Paris-Est (UPEC, France) and USTHB, in 2014. His research interests include mobile ad-hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, and wireless sensor/actor networks.
