Jason Vanclef (Santa Monica, CA) is a Financial Planner and strategist whose Asset Class Diversification model, taught in this book, is responsible for 97% of his clients--around 750 men and women--not only to weather the economic storm between October 2007 and March of 2009, but to make money. Vanclef specializes in the use of alternative investments such as oil/gas, commercial real estate, equipment leases, rare coins and so forth. He teaches the use of these investments alongside traditional ideas to build worst case scenario portfolio's for his clients as well as follow a more common sense viewpoint to the economy and what lies ahead. Education is the core of his diversification model and he spends the majority of his time teaching current clients about the various investment ideas and how they relate to each other. Investment ideas the rich use often yet most people are unaware of. The Wealth Code: How the Rich Stay Rich in Good Times and Bad is a culmination of the years spent educating his clients through stories to simplify very complex investment strategies and concepts that have allowed the informed rich to stay rich in these tumultuous times.
