He was awarded the Rayleigh Medal by the UK Institute of Acoustics, the Michell Medal by Engineers Australia and the Rossing Prize in Acoustics Education by the Acoustical Society of America.
Kristy Hansen is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Flinders University, Australia, and holder of the Australian Research Council’s Discovery Early Career Researcher Award for research on the effects of wind farm noise on rural communities.
